Julie Cosgrove Celebrates One Year Anniversary at Northway Bank
Julie Cosgrove, Residential Mortgage Loan Originator, proudly celebrates her one-year anniversary with the retail mortgage lending division of Northway Bank.
Julie is a well-known lending professional in the Concord, Manchester and Portsmouth area and brings with her a wealth of insight and expertise. Julie began her banking career as a Customer Service Representative 19 years ago, and has since gained experience in every area of mortgage lending.
“We’re thrilled to have Julie on our mortgage lending team,” says Wendy Olson, Northway’s Mortgage Manager. “Having lived in the state for quite some time, Julie really has a deep connection and knows the people who live here. And her industry knowledge and expertise is invaluable.”
Cosgrove says she’s inspired by her customers and delights in the process of homeownership, whether it be a first-time homebuyer or a seasoned home owner. She relocated to the seacoast two years ago and is appreciating all the area has to offer.

Northway Bank Names Kate Burns SVP, Retail Banking Manager
Northway Bank welcomes longtime New England banker, Kate Burns, as Senior Vice President, Retail Banking Manager.
In her role, Burns will oversee Northway Bank’s network of retail branches throughout New Hampshire, while also leading strategic initiatives to strengthen the bank’s service culture and market position.
Burns brings 21 years of banking experience to Northway. Most recently, she served on the leadership team at Citizens Financial Group, where she was a market executive supporting operations throughout greater Boston and, earlier in her career, regional sales manager in both the Manchester and Seacoast markets.
A seasoned leader, Burns holds a certification in advanced leadership from Babson College, a private business school specializing in entrepreneurship.
“Kate is committed to building a culture focused on providing an outstanding customer experience,” says Scott Thimann, Northway Bank’s Chief Banking Officer. “This makes her a great fit at Northway.”

Northway Bank Welcomes William Ross as Mortgage Loan Officer
Northway Bank welcomes William Ross to the retail mortgage lending division of Northway Bank. William is a well-known lending professional in the Seacoast and Lakes Regions, bringing a wealth of insight and expertise. William began his banking career as a Retail Mortgage Originator in 2000. He is also a member of the Strafford County Board of Realtors Affiliates.
“We’re thrilled to have William join our mortgage lending team,” says Wendy Olson, Northway’s Mortgage Manager. “He has been working with both first time and seasoned home buyers for over 17 years and maintains a well-established referral partnership with many local Real Estate Professionals that is invaluable to our team.”
William grew up in Medford Lakes, New Jersey and graduated from Johnson & Wales University, moving to the Lakes Region in 2001. “My family and I enjoy taking advantage of the many activities that the Lakes and Seacoast Regions have to offer, making it easy to understand and share the beauty with customers living here or relocating to New Hampshire. It’s a wonderful thing.”

Bobby Hill Joins Northway Bank as Mortgage Loan Officer
Bobby Hill recently joined the Mortgage Lending team at Northway Bank. Bobby brings all that is needed in an effective team environment – passion, creativity, innovation, enthusiasm and forward-thinking leadership.
“We’re very excited to have Bobby join our mortgage lending team,” says Wendy Olson, Northway’s Mortgage Manager. “Having lived in the North Country for over 14 years, Bobby has a deep connection and knows the people who live here. His passion and knowledge is invaluable.”
Bobby was most recently the General Sales Manager for Berlin City Chevrolet and has over 20 years of solid sales and marketing experience in the retail industry, including invaluable time as a loan officer while living in his native state of Vermont. He graduated from Nichols College with a four-year MBA in Marketing. He is an active member of the North Country Board of Realtors.
Being a well-known retail professional in the Berlin and Gorham area, Bobby shares “Having grown some very deep roots in the community, I am really looking forward to helping people make their new homes a reality.”
In his personal time, Bobby enjoys the outdoors with his family, taking advantage of the beautiful area they live in, often hiking, golfing or four-wheeling. Bobby is also a coach for his son’s team on the Berlin Youth Hockey squirt league.
